HTML Tables
Html tables allows web developers to arrange data such as text, images and other table related data into rows and columns of cell.

HTML Table Tags
Tables in HTML comprises of tags organise to carry out table data <td> called table cells. Various tables tags are listed below.
Table Header, Body, and Footer
Tables can be divided into three portions - a header, a body, and a footer. The header and footer are similar remain the same in a table, while the body is the main content holder of the table carry the table data. A table may contain several <tbody> elements to indicate different pages or groups of data. These tags are;

Table Cells
Each table cell is defined by a and a tag. td stands for table data. Everything between and are the content of the table cell.
Table Rows
Each table row starts with a and end with a tag. tr stands for table row. The number of rows in a table can be many, but ensure that the number of cells are the same in each row.
Table Headers
Sometimes you want your cells to be headers, in those cases use the tag instead of the tag:

Table Caption
The caption tag will serve as a title or explanation for the table and it shows up at the top of the table. This tag is deprecated in newer version of HTML/XHTML.

Table Attributes:
There are several table attributes that helps to add more value, beauttiful and organisation of table. Some of these attributes are listed below.
Cellpadding and Cellspacing Attributes
cellpadding and cellspacing which you will use to adjust the white space in your table cells.The cellspacing attribute defines space between table cells. while cellpadding define the distance between cell borders and the content within a cell.

colspan attribute is use to merge two or more columns into a single column. while rowspan is use to merge two or more rows.
