The Systems Architect: A 14-Day Hardware & Networking Intensive
Get under the hood of the digital age to master the physical 'heart' and 'nervous system' that connects every device on the planet
What you'll learn
The Physical Foundation: Hardware and Networking Essentials
Every line of code, every video stream, and every database entry relies on a physical world of wires, chips, and signals. Hardware and Networking is the study of the "body" and "nervous system" of technology. This course is designed to take you under the hood of the machines we use every day and show you how to connect them to form a global infrastructure.
Understanding the Duo
· Hardware: This is the physical components—the processors, memory, and storage that perform the actual work. If it's software that tells a computer what to do, it's hardware that actually does it.
+1
· Networking: This is the art of communication. It is how devices talk to each other, share resources, and access the internet through routers, switches, and complex protocols.
What You Will Master
In this course, you will move from being a user to becoming a technician and architect. Here is what you will gain:
· PC Architecture: Learn to identify, install, and troubleshoot every major component, from the CPU (Central Processing Unit) to the Power Supply.
· The OSI Model: Understand the universal language of networking. You’ll learn how data travels through the seven layers, from a physical cable to an application like your web browser.
· IP Addressing & Subnetting: Master the "GPS" of the internet. Learn how to assign addresses and manage traffic so data reaches the right destination.
· Network Hardware: Get hands-on with Routers, Switches, and Access Points. You'll learn how to build a network from scratch.
· Wired & Wireless Standards: Master everything from crimping Ethernet cables to configuring secure, high-speed Wi-Fi networks.
· Network Security Basics: Learn how to protect your infrastructure using firewalls and encryption to keep intruders out.

The Advantage |
Why It Matters |
|
The "First Responder" Role |
Every company needs IT Support and Network Admins. You are the person who keeps the business running when technology fails. |
|
Tangible Skills |
Unlike pure coding, this is a hands-on skill. You’ll know how to build servers and fix physical hardware, making you invaluable. |
|
Cloud Foundation |
"The Cloud" is just someone else's hardware. To master AWS or Azure, you must first understand the physical networking you'll learn here. |
|
High Versatility |
These skills apply to everything: smart homes, corporate offices, data centers, and telecommunications. |
Is This For You?
· Aspiring IT Professionals: If you want to become a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
· Hardware Enthusiasts: Anyone who loves building PCs and wants to understand the science behind the parts.
· Future Cloud Engineers: Those who want a solid foundation before moving into high-level cloud architecture.
"Software is the soul of the machine, but Hardware is its heart. Without a strong network, the heart beats in isolation."
